What three things have you seen, heard or experienced that have most shaped your ministry as it is?
Abby - Stuff Matt taught us in Southampton Vineyard 2001-2004, Seeing the daily injustices in this world, The Life You've always wanted by John Ortberg
Andy - 1.Joining Southampton Vineyard changed my experience of being a Christian and showed me that there were people who had a passion for following God and for that to be actively worked out in their life. 2.My first experiences of leadership in the CU at University helped me see that God had a plan to use me and also that I had to take responsibility for my own spiritual growth – it wasn’t something that I could leave to others and hope for the best. 3.The first time that I read about Church of the Savior (sic – I have always wanted to write that! How sad of me.). It was inspiring to read about a church that was trying hard to be both hardcore on discipleship and reaching out into their community through social action. I see it also in Rob Bell’s teaching and hopefully in our church too.
